Position: General Manager Trainee at Sun Tan City
Position Summary
The General Manager Trainee is instrumental in propelling store performance, guaranteeing exceptional customer service, and maintaining operational excellence to achieve productivity targets. This position involves supervising Tanning Consultants, establishing and meeting company goals, and showcasing leadership across all operational dimensions. The General Manager Trainee fosters a sense of urgency within the team to provide remarkable client experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
The duties of this role encompass, but are not limited to:
- Managing daily salon operations in a dynamic environment
- Leading by example to cultivate a client-centric atmosphere and achieve sales objectives
- Ensuring a professional and tidy salon environment
- Setting clear expectations for team members and providing coaching and training
- Compiling sales reports, overseeing inventory, and assisting with managerial functions
- Contributing to revenue management and cost control
- Ensuring adequate staffing levels for optimal productivity and customer service
- Availability for evening and weekend shifts as required
- Working a 5-day week with 35 to 45 hours based on employment status
Qualifications:
- Previous management and/or sales experience is required
- Experience in the beauty sector and/or customer service is beneficial
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced setting and manage multiple responsibilities
- Understanding of client service standards and operational practices
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Effective leadership, coaching, and team-building capabilities
- Aptitude for prioritizing tasks and delegating effectively
Physical Demands:
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking
- Bending to clean tanning equipment
- Lifting heavy items and boxes
- Performing cleaning duties such as dusting, sweeping, and mopping
