Position Summary:
As an Animal Care Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic. Your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining an inviting reception area for clients and their pets.
- Welcoming clients and their animals with a friendly demeanor.
- Addressing inquiries and directing client concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Managing appointment scheduling to optimize clinic efficiency.
- Processing client check-ins and check-outs, including payment transactions.
- Providing emotional support to clients during challenging times.
It is essential to be prepared for the unique challenges of a veterinary environment, including exposure to various odors and sounds, as well as potential interactions with animals.
Qualifications:
We are seeking candidates who possess:
- A minimum of one year of experience in a veterinary reception role is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent organizational abilities and proficiency in computer systems.
