Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse to join our Orthopedics & Spine Unit at Albany Medical Center. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care, collaborate with colleagues, and contribute to a compassionate and caring environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement physician orders, administer medications, and perform treatments and procedures as required by company policy and regulations.
  • Assess and evaluate patient needs, and respond to care rendered.
  • Apply sound nursing judgment in patient care management decisions.
  • Provide primary and emergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
  • Administer over-the-counter and prescription medications as ordered.
  • Collaborate with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care for all patients.
  • Direct and guide ancillary personnel, and maintain standards of professional nursing.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong foundation in nursing principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
