About the Position

We are seeking a highly qualified and dedicated individual to join our team as a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor of Psychology at the University of Alaska Anchorage. This is a full-time, 9-month, tenure-track faculty position that offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach undergraduate and graduate classes in developmental psychology, both online and on-campus.
  • Develop and maintain an independent research program that builds on and adds to existing community partnerships.
  • Pursue and secure external funding to support research and academic programs.
  • Mentor students in research and provide guidance on academic and professional development.
  • Contribute to departmental service and committee work, including curriculum development and program assessment.
Qualifications
  • Doctoral degree in Developmental Psychology or a related field.
  • Documented record of research and publication or demonstrated potential for research and publication.
  • Documented college-level teaching experience, both online and in the classroom.
