Job Overview

The Honolulu Jewelry Company is on the lookout for a dedicated Fine Jewelry Sales Consultant who thrives in a dynamic retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver Exceptional Customer Service:

  • Engage with clients in a warm and meaningful manner.
  • Initiate conversations to uncover customer needs and preferences.
  • Provide insightful advice and knowledge to enhance the customer experience.
  • Exhibit behaviors that promote customer satisfaction, including expressing gratitude for purchases.

Enhance Sales through Multi-Channel Strategies:

  • Stay informed about merchandise, events, promotions, policies, and services.
  • Showcase expert styling and comprehensive brand knowledge.
  • Recommend products based on in-depth product knowledge and client interests.
  • Handle returns graciously and offer suitable alternatives based on client needs.
  • Proactively identify and suggest merchandise across various channels.
  • Utilize selling tools and technology to achieve sales targets.

Develop and Expand Client Relationships:

  • Foster client relationships through personalized communication.
  • Build a client base by forming connections with new customers and enhancing loyalty among existing ones.
  • Leverage digital tools to meet client needs and follow up as necessary.
  • Utilize mobile devices and selling technology to engage with clients and grow the business.

Champion Operational Excellence:

  • Assist with operational tasks, including maintaining the sales floor and updating customer data.
  • Act as a liaison between customers and internal departments to resolve issues and build lasting relationships.

Contribute to Team Success:

  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure an outstanding client experience.
  • Foster a positive work environment through teamwork and support.
  • Maintain constructive relationships throughout the organization.
  • Seek assistance proactively when needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2-3 years in customer service or retail experience, or a degree in Business, Marketing, or Communications.
  • Experience with customer relationship management systems.
  • Sales experience in a commission-based setting.
  • Familiarity with website technology and e-commerce terminology.
