Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with imaging procedures and providing diagnostic support through organ or body scans.
  • Preparing and positioning patients while accurately selecting anatomical and technical parameters.
  • Administering contrast media and medications in accordance with state and federal regulations.
  • Monitoring patients during procedures and reporting any irregularities.
  • Reviewing protocols and suggesting updates as necessary.
  • Adhering to radiation safety standards and guidelines.
  • Performing specialized imaging procedures and assisting the Radiologist/PA as needed.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory agency standards.
Qualifications

Candidates must meet the following licensure and certification requirements:

  • BLS Provider certification obtained within 30 days of hire or transfer.
  • One of the following credentials is required:
    • Cardiographic Tech credential from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
    • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credential from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist credential from CCI is preferred.

Education: A high school diploma or equivalent with 2 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's/Technical degree, or 4 years of applicable job-specific experience is required.

Additional Preferences

Candidates should be available for a Monday to Friday Day Shift, with flexibility required for procedural areas and the Cardiac service line. A minimum of 1 year of experience in Cath/EP is preferred.
