Job Description

At Digitas, we're seeking a talented Associate Director, Creative UX to join our Experience Design team. As a leader in our organization, you'll be responsible for setting the vision for your teams and projects, while also mentoring and managing direct reports and junior talent.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a design system that ensures consistency and quality across all projects
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to strategize, design, and build experiences that meet user and business needs
  • Lead project teams to produce high-quality deliverables on time, while also contributing to the day-to-day outputs
  • Mentor and manage direct reports and junior talent to help them grow in their careers
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in UX design

Requirements

  • 6-8 years of experience in UX design, with a strong portfolio of beautiful and usable experiences
  • Hybrid design experience, with strong UX fundamentals paired with refined UI and visual design skills
  • Well-versed in the fundamentals of visual design, including color, typography, illustration, and motion
  • Exceptional ability to create, maintain, and evolve a design system
  • Strong experience in discovery-based activities, user research, and agile processes
  • Demonstrated ability to think holistically about an experience to ensure user and business needs are met
  • Competency in creating site maps, wireframes, user flows, journey maps, and other experience models
  • High level of proficiency in Figma, InVision, Sketch, and Adobe CC
  • Amazing written and presentation skills that showcase passion, informed opinions, and design rationale
