Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop control systems based on machine specifications and project requirements.
  • Design safe and efficient industrial control systems through comprehensive requirement analysis, including electrical and pneumatic schematics, bill of materials, and PLC & HMI configurations.
  • Implement systematic procedures to verify that control systems function as intended.
  • Provide guidance to ensure smooth debugging and testing phases of projects.
  • Collaborate with team members to adhere to project timelines and budgets.
  • Manage relationships with outsourced control vendors, ensuring project scope, schedule, and costs are maintained.
  • Assist in preparing project quotes related to control functionalities and necessary resources.
  • Maintain professionalism during customer facility visits for installation and startup.
  • Follow all safety, production, and quality protocols during project execution at customer sites.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • 2-10 years of experience in industrial automation and control systems.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Experience collaborating with mechanical engineers on automated systems development.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Experience with PLC programming is essential.
  • Familiarity with motion control systems programming and commissioning, particularly with servos; Yaskawa experience is advantageous.
  • Proficient in debugging and testing electro-mechanical systems and controls.
  • Experience in configuring HMIs for discrete manufacturing processes.
