Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management: Provide leadership and guidance to a team of nurses, ensuring that they have the necessary resources and support to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Patient Care: Provide direct patient care, assessing patient needs and developing individualized care plans to meet those needs.
- Quality Improvement: Identify opportunities for quality improvement and implement changes to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Staff Development: Provide education and training to nursing staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree or higher.
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience as a registered nurse, with a minimum of 1 year of experience in a leadership or management role.
- Licensure: Current RN licensure in the state of Texas or compact state licensure.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and other certifications as defined by the unit or service line.
- Magnet Recognition: Experience working in a Magnet-recognized hospital.
- ANCC Certification: Certification in nursing leadership or management from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
