Position Overview:
The Residential Plumbing Technician is responsible for performing skilled technical tasks related to the installation, repair, replacement, and upkeep of domestic water systems, heating systems, sanitary sewer systems, storm drainage, gas piping, steam and condensate piping, as well as fire protection systems.


Qualifications:

OSHA10 Certification is required.
Exceptional communication skills are essential for interaction with clients and team members.
A high school diploma or GED equivalent is mandatory.
Strong technical knowledge in plumbing is necessary.


Key Responsibilities:

Ensuring safe working conditions at all times.

  • Regularly inspect systems to confirm proper functionality.
  • Examine toilets, sinks, dishwashers, and other appliances for leaks.
  • Responsible for the repair and replacement of plumbing fixtures.
  • Interpret blueprints and schematics to plan plumbing, waste disposal, and water supply systems.
  • Replace washers and rubber gaskets in faucets and showerheads.
  • Identify and resolve issues with water supply lines.
  • Install and maintain water supply systems.
  • Cut, assemble, and install pipes and tubes while considering existing infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot plumbing issues effectively.
  • Install underground plumbing, venting, fixtures, water entrances, sewer lines, and gas lines.
