Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our team at Rhode Island Medical Imaging. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography scans, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform CT scans on patients, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
  • Position patients correctly, ensuring accurate and safe scanning procedures.
  • Operate CT scanners, maintaining equipment and performing routine quality control checks.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient scans, including medical history and imaging results.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the scanning process.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques.
Requirements
  • Registered Technologist through the ARRT and certified in CT required.
  • Licensed technologist through the State of Rhode Island and certified in CT required.
  • National & State IV Certification required.
  • High School diploma plus two years of training at an approved school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Must be a registered technologist and have obtained adequate additional training in cross-sectional anatomy, injection procedures, contrast media, and possible reactions.
