Sanitation Specialist

Giovanni Foods is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sanitation Technician to join our team

Job Summary:

The Sanitation Technician is responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary environment within our facility. This includes performing daily, weekly, and periodic cleaning and sanitation tasks, as well as adhering to our Master Sanitation Schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify and perform daily, weekly, and periodic plant-wide cleaning and sanitation tasks, including applying cleaning agents, washing, sweeping, and mopping.
• Adhere to the plant Master Sanitation Schedule to ensure all sanitation duties are completed thoroughly and efficiently.
• Dismantle and reassemble equipment as necessary to ensure a thorough sanitation is completed.
• Verify the use of cleaning agents, understand their proper amounts and application process, and ensure adherence to proper MSDS requirements.
• Maintain housekeeping, GMPs, and safety within the facility.
• Perform other duties as needed or assigned by management.
