About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Steward to join our team at Cherokee Town & Country Club. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of food safety and sanitation in our restaurants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of our stewarding team to ensure efficient and effective dishwashing and cleaning operations.
  • Ensure that all kitchen equipment and facilities are maintained in good working order and are clean and hygienic at all times.
  • Work closely with our line cooks and other kitchen staff to ensure that they have all the necessary equipment and resources to complete their tasks.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of food safety and sanitation procedures.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve kitchen efficiency and productivity.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a supervisory role in a commercial kitchen.
  • ServSafe certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months).
  • Knowledge of kitchen equipment and dishwashing procedures.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
