Quality Assurance Manager

Overview

Sterling Engineering is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Manager to champion the design, implementation, and coordination of robust QMS programs for assigned plants. The ideal candidate will guarantee adherence to contractual requirements, industry standards, and best practices through continuous quality surveillance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead quality issues troubleshooting and recommend solutions to ensure optimal product quality
  • Ensure facilities and operations adhere to the highest standards through QMS management and monitoring
  • Collaborate with the design team to implement corrective actions and improve processes for enhanced product quality
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to maintain consistent quality standards through effective communication
  • Partner with program teams to ensure timely product launches and maintain regular customer interaction
  • Contribute to the development of a comprehensive Quality Control plan

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field (Master's preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience managing a Quality Management System (QMS)
  • Prior experience in auditing and equipment inspection (preferred)
  • Deep understanding of manufacturing and production processes with a proven ability to solve problems in this environment
  • Excellent communication skills with experience working effectively with both internal and external customers
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and statistical analysis tools
  • Possesses a strong understanding of ISO 9001 standards and best practices
