About the Position
We are hiring a Clinical Social Worker to work with our multidisciplinary team at UNC Health Care. As a Clinical Social Worker, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive clinical social work services to adult patients, family members, and employees who have experienced some form of intimate partner and/or family violence, human trafficking, and vulnerable adult abuse.
Your duties will include completing bio-psychosocial assessments, providing information and short-term therapeutic counseling, developing intervention plans, maintaining relationships with outside community health and social agencies, and identifying possible or actual patient/family crises. You will also assist patients and families with obtaining community assistance by referral to proper resources.
To qualify, you must have a Master's degree in Social Work from a Council on Social Work Education-accredited program and licensure as a LCSW or LCSWA in North Carolina. A minimum of no prior experience is required; however, preference may be given to candidates with experience working with vulnerable populations.
