Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Disaster Restoration Technician to join our team at ServiceMaster by Rice. As a key member of our emergency response team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch disaster restoration and recovery services to our residential and commercial customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Restoration and Remediation
    • Perform water, fire, and smoke restoration, mold remediation, and carpet cleaning services as directed by our Crew Chiefs and Managers.
    • Conduct thorough assessments of damaged properties to identify areas requiring restoration and develop effective restoration plans.
    • Operate and maintain specialized equipment, including air movers, dehumidifiers, and cleaning solutions.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that our customers receive timely and professional restoration services.
    • Communicate effectively with customers, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
  • Teamwork and Safety
    • Collaborate with our team members to ensure seamless execution of restoration projects.
    • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for ourselves and our customers.
Requirements
  • Knowledge and Skills
    • Knowledge of water and fire restoration, mold remediation, and carpet cleaning techniques and procedures.
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Physical Demands
    • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 50 pounds.
    • Ability to stand at heights of 12 feet on ladders or scaffolding.
    • Ability to climb stairs.
