At Bayone, we're seeking a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. The successful applicant will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, and deploying Cisco cloud infrastructure services and nodes used to support the development and operations of our cutting-edge Cisco Webex micro-services.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing cloud infrastructure services and nodes using Python, Java, Puppet, Ansible, and Docker containers.
  • Performance and scale engineering of data services, including high availability and multi-site replication.
  • Implementing automation to perform day-to-day systems operations functions of the cloud collaboration platform using open-source configuration tools.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to the cloud collaboration platform.

Minimum requirements include:

  • US citizenship, as the successful applicant will be performing work on a US Government project.
  • Experience with infrastructure orchestration as code (IaaS) such as Terraform in an AWS environment.
  • Previous experience with data clustering across data centers.
  • Must have previous experience developing or implementing configuration management with Ansible.

Desired skills and qualifications include:

  • Basic networking skills and familiarity with Unix/Linux systems.
  • Experience in one or more development languages of Python, Ruby, Java, or Go.
  • Experience with open-source technologies such as Cassandra, Elasticsearch, Kafka, Postgres, or RabbitMQ.

As a Cloud Collaboration Engineer at Bayone, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based collaboration platforms. This includes:

  • Designing and implementing cloud infrastructure services and nodes.
  • Performance and scale engineering of data services.
  • Implementing automation to perform day-to-day systems operations functions.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to the cloud collaboration platform.
