Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Della Infotech. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing treatment plans to improve swallowing, cognitive, and communication abilities in our long-term care residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address swallowing, cognitive, and communication deficits
  • Lead and direct the delivery of speech language pathology and audiology services in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and services for residents
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify resident needs and develop treatment plans
  • Provide education and training to residents, families, and staff on communication and swallowing techniques
Requirements
  • Valid, unrestricted license in speech language pathology in the state of Missouri
  • Meet educational requirements for licensure
  • Valid driver's license in the state of employment
  • Knowledge of skilled nursing home regulations, procedures, laws, and guidelines pertaining to long-term care
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2 years of experience in speech language pathology
  • LTC or rehabilitation experience
  • CPR certification
