We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Della Infotech. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing treatment plans to improve swallowing, cognitive, and communication abilities in our long-term care residents.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address swallowing, cognitive, and communication deficits
- Lead and direct the delivery of speech language pathology and audiology services in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and services for residents
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify resident needs and develop treatment plans
- Provide education and training to residents, families, and staff on communication and swallowing techniques
- Valid, unrestricted license in speech language pathology in the state of Missouri
- Meet educational requirements for licensure
- Valid driver's license in the state of employment
- Knowledge of skilled nursing home regulations, procedures, laws, and guidelines pertaining to long-term care
- 2 years of experience in speech language pathology
- LTC or rehabilitation experience
- CPR certification
