Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiology Interventional Technologist to join our team at Providence Service. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist radiologists, cardiologists, and interventionists in the performance of interventional, angiographic, and therapeutic procedures for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
  • Operate conventional, fluoroscopic, or portable radiology equipment to obtain routine radiographs of designated body portions.
  • Position patients and adjust equipment to correct settings for each examination.
  • Assist with and/or provide input for technologist schedules, evaluation, selection process, and orientation of radiologic technologists to the department.
Requirements
  • 2-year formal training in radiology special procedures or equivalent education/experience.
  • California Radiologic Technologist certification.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification.
  • National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification.
  • National Registered Technologist - Cardiac-Interventional Radiography or National Registered Technologist - Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiography or National Registered Technologist - Vascular-Interventional Radiography or National Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist - Cardiovascular Credentialing International certification.
  • 2 years' experience as a special procedures technologist.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Participation in continuing education programs.
  • 2 years' experience in a special procedures or cardiovascular lab.
