KSER, a public radio station in Everett, Washington, seeks an experienced General Manager to oversee daily operations and drive the station's mission and vision.

The successful candidate will direct broadcast activities, manage staff and volunteers, and foster a culture of innovation to keep KSER responsive to audience needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement plans to ensure KSER and its sister station KXIR are responsive to audience needs.
  • Build relationships with key constituencies, including the community at large.
  • Recruit, manage, engage, and retain volunteers.
  • Prepare annual budget and manage cash flow.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Public Broadcasting and FCC policies and regulations.
  • Experience managing public or community radio.
