As a key player in our team, you will be responsible for the origination of compliant residential loan applications and for cultivating referral relationships with real estate professionals, builders, legal advisors, and other influential contacts. Your role will involve enhancing and deepening customer relationships by understanding their needs and aligning them with appropriate product offerings and resources available within your designated business line and across all divisions of Associated Bank.
Additionally, you will oversee the efficient processing of loan applications through consistent communication with loan processors and engage in regular pipeline management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively follow up on leads generated through personal initiatives, industry contacts, and inquiries, supplemented by marketing efforts from the Bank.
- Receive and process compliant residential mortgage loan applications from clients. Assess applications for adherence to Bank, industry, and agency standards. Promptly inform applicants who do not meet qualifications and initiate processing for those who do.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
Experience:
- 2-4 years of experience in residential loan processing or origination within a financial institution or mortgage banking environment is required.
