Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Manage significantly complex projects and project teams, working under the guidance of a licensed professional engineer, while undertaking project-related functions.
  • Client Relationships: Actively participate in utility client projects as a project manager, engineering consultant, technical review person, or senior technical support, with the goal of maintaining a 60% utilization rate.
  • Team Leadership: Manage direct reports and their workloads to ensure each team member has the opportunity to meet their personal performance goals, as established in the annual department planning process. Manage the relationship of assigned electric utility clients within the region on behalf of all practice areas.
  • Business Development: Support the development of new regional electric utility client relationships and assist with business development activities, including marketing visits to prospective clients.
  • Substation Design: Support substation design services in accordance with industry standards and established guidelines, including bidding and procurement, contract preparation, construction management, and support.
  • Project Execution: Direct, coordinate, and carry out operation and engineering projects, including substation design, equipment sizing, operational support, analysis, and overall project management from conception to completion.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in electrical engineering, project management, and team leadership. You should be able to communicate effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders, and have a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
