Job Title: Barista

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Barista to join our team at AccorHotel. As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our guests receive a high-quality beverage experience.

Responsibilities:

• Customer Service: Provide timely, personalized, and friendly service to our discerning guests.
• Cleanliness and Maintenance: Ensure that the overall cleanliness and maintenance of our cafe exceeds expectations.
• Contribution to Operation: Contribute to the improvement of the operation by contributing ideas, making suggestions, and actively participating in departmental communication meetings.
• Sales Promotions: Actively participate in monthly departmental sales promotions.
• Beverage Quality: Ensure that all beverage products meet AccorHotel standards.
• Inventory Management: Ensure that the cafe is well-stocked and communicate any '86 items to the Manager on Duty.
• Cafe Maintenance: Ensure that the cafe area is clean and all equipment is functional.
• Health and Safety: Be Health & Safety conscious and actively involved in maintaining a safe work environment.
• Customer Service Essentials: Uphold the highest standard of internal and external customer service by demonstrating Fairmont Service Essentials at all times.
• Side Duties: Complete side duties in a timely manner.
• Teamwork: Assist colleagues in daily tasks as required.

Qualifications:

• Previous Guest Service Experience: Previous guest service experience is preferred.
• Point of Sale System Experience: Previous point of sale system experience is preferred.
• Cash Handling Skills: Must have good cash handling skills.
• Communication and Organizational Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills are required.
• Interpersonal and Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities are necessary.
• Responsibility and Reliability: Highly responsible and reliable.
• Pressure Management: Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Teamwork: Ability to work cohesively as part of a team.
• Guest Focus: Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.

Physical Demands:

• Standing and Sitting: Constant standing and sitting throughout shift.
• Lifting and Carrying: Occasional lifting and carrying up to 20 lbs.

• Ascending and Descending: Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs, and ramps.
