As a Staff Physical Therapist in our Orthopedic Department, you will be responsible for evaluating, planning, and administering physical therapy modalities to patients with various orthopedic conditions. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate patients with orthopedic conditions and develop individualized treatment plans
Administer physical therapy modalities, including exercises, manual therapy, and modalities as prescribed by physicians
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and achieve optimal patient outcomes
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment plans
Participate in performance improvement activities and contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures
Requirements
Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program
Current licensure as a physical therapist in the State of Texas
Current BLS certification
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in an orthopedic setting
Knowledge of physical therapy modalities and techniques
Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
