Job Summary:

The Keck School of Medicine is seeking a highly experienced Clinical Research Program Manager to lead our disease teams in clinical trials operations. The successful candidate will have a strong background in clinical research, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the daily activities of disease team members, including planning, problem-solving, staffing, and operations.
  • Ensure all patients receive excellent and compliant care under research protocols and Principal Investigator guidelines.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve team performance, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Assess team functioning and provide support as needed.
  • Prepare and present bi-weekly reports on patient data, team performance, and other relevant metrics.
  • Attend monthly leadership meetings and participate in educational activities targeted to disease teams.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree or BSN preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in clinical trials and supervision, management, and oversight of individuals.
  • Valid CA RN license.
  • Clear understanding of clinical trial conduct, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and applicable regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of experience in clinical trials and experience in supervision, management, and oversight of individuals.
  • Master's degree or BSN.
  • Extensive understanding of clinical trial conduct, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and applicable regulations.
