About the Opportunity:

Soliant is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Specialist to join our team at an elementary school in Virginia. As a skilled SLP, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students in grades 3-5.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a qualified SLP to provide speech and language therapy services to students across two locations. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language disorders in students.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals that cater to each student's unique needs.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, ensuring they receive high-quality care and support.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal results.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student success and foster a positive learning environment.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, adhering to school policies and state regulations.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, contributing to the development of individualized education programs that meet each student's needs.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you must possess a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program, as well as valid state licensure in Virginia. A Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is highly desirable. You should have experience working with elementary school students, particularly in grades 3-5, and demonstrate strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
