Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Security Officer to join our team at Hospital Sisters Health System. As a Security Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our patients, visitors, and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect crime, and to provide a visible presence to deter potential security threats.
  • Respond to all in-building emergencies, providing assistance and coordination as needed.
  • Enforce rules and regulations, and provide guidance to staff and visitors on security-related matters.
  • Assist with compliance of the environment of care management plans.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma, GED, or related vocational training is preferred.
  • One year of experience with knowledge of private security functions obtained through education or work experience, such as military, public safety, or fire department is preferred.
  • Valid state driver's license and must be insurable to operate hospital vehicles is required.
  • Successfully complete the Oleoresin Capsicum (OC) Certification within the first 90 days of employment is preferred (if utilized at the affiliate).
