We are seeking a highly skilled U.S. fellowship-trained colorectal surgeon to enhance our esteemed department in the Chicago suburbs. The ideal candidate will engage in a balanced mix of colorectal and general cases, gradually transitioning towards an exclusive emphasis on colorectal cases.

The caseload offers a nuanced focus, encompassing the treatment of anorectal diseases, benign and malignant colorectal disorders, and advanced endoscopic procedures. The incoming surgeon will manage referrals for the Edward Pod, enjoying the benefits of a robust referral network of over 900 physicians.

While prior experience is preferred, it is not obligatory, and the position offers access to cutting-edge robotic technology both at the hospital and the surgery center. Anticipate a robust practice from day one, with a steady influx of referrals from primary care, oncology, and other specialties.

This compelling opportunity arises from the strategic expansion of our practice, addressing the imperative to reduce wait times associated with another colorectal surgeon covering a separate Pod.
