We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Equipment Maintenance Manager to join our team at Herzog. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing the maintenance of our passenger rail vehicle fleet, ensuring safe and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a team of mechanical department staff to ensure safe working environments and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate and organize production schedules to meet required levels of service.
- Develop and implement a fleet Life Cycle Maintenance program to ensure timely and efficient provision of fleet required for services.
- Manage a unionized workforce and administrative employees, providing guidance, evaluation, and mentorship.
- Represent Herzog at project planning meetings and prepare project updates for management and agency staff.
- Bachelor's Degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant work experience in progressively responsible supervisory capacities, including general management of a unionized workforce.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products and ability to work in a safety-sensitive work environment.
