Position Overview: Vanguard Resources, a leader in Facilities Management, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Floor Maintenance Specialist to join our team. This full-time role is essential in upholding a clean and hygienic environment.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM

Compensation: $11.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and disinfecting of floor surfaces.
  • Maintain and clean various flooring types, including tile and carpet.
  • Utilize appropriate cleaning agents and supplies in accordance with established procedures.
  • Safely operate and maintain cleaning equipment, including buffers and waxers.
  • Adhere to safety protocols, including the use of wet floor signage.
  • Follow specific procedures for cleaning isolation areas, ensuring proper use of personal protective equipment.
  • Keep the janitorial closet stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Assist in the upkeep and maintenance of departmental equipment and materials.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • A minimum of 6 months of relevant experience is necessary.
  • Effective communication skills in English are essential.
  • Completion of all required health assessments is mandatory.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
