We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist II to join our team at AdventHealth Waterman. As a key member of our surgical team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain the sterile field, including instruments, equipment, and supplies.
  • Assist surgeons and other surgical team members as needed.
  • Participate in the care of surgical patients.
  • Adhere to AORN and AAMI standards.
  • Display working knowledge of surgical procedures and equipment/supplies.
  • Follow department and hospital policies and regulatory standards.
  • Maintain aseptic technique at all times.
  • Work collaboratively as a member of the surgical team.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Surgical Technology Program or Military Training Program in Surgical Technology.
  • Surgical Technology Certification.
  • Basic Life Support.
  • 1 year experience as a Surgical Technologist in an Operating Room preferred.
