Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Outpatient - Cardiology Fairfax

Inova Health System is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Fairfax, Virginia. As a Cardiology RN Outpatient, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients with cardiovascular conditions.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate RN to work in our outpatient cardiology department. The ideal candidate will have experience in cardiology nursing and be able to provide safe and therapeutic care to patients. As a member of our team, you will work closely with our board-certified physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide patient education and answer questions related to cardiovascular health
  • Coordinate patient readiness and care throughout the clinic
  • Perform stress testing, including regular, echo, and nuclear tests
  • Help patients manage INR levels
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care to patients
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing
  • Greater than one year of RN experience, preferably in cardiology nursing
  • BLS and ACLS certification for Healthcare Provider
