Regional Sales Managers play a critical role in our Retail Marketing team, which markets and sells our family-friendly vacation packages through retail locations based in Bass Pro Shops and Cabela's.

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for taking on field-based assignments within a designated region or specific store location, with the goal of rehabilitating and restoring performance to operating standards and profitability goals.

This role requires an agile operator who can adapt to changing business needs. The Regional Sales Manager will maintain a proactive communication rhythm with the Regional Director on all aspects of business operations, including talent acquisition, learning and development, and day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Talent Acquisition: Ensure all regional operations maintain inventory of necessary collateral, including lead slips, pitch cards, and maps, to support sales efforts.
  • Staff Management: Responsible for the work, performance, and behavior of staff, ensuring the company's purpose, core values, and policies are upheld through all actions and behaviors of sales associates.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with dress code, uniforms, cleanliness standards, and general work environment requirements.
  • Talent Development: Responsible for full-cycle talent acquisition initiatives and learning and development of sales representatives.
  • Staff Development: Oversees and assists with staff management and development within an assigned region, including recruitment, succession planning, onboarding, training, scheduling, coaching, and motivating sales teams.
  • Performance Improvement: Responsible for rehabilitating assigned locations to achieve or exceed budgetary responsibilities related to lead generation and sales of vacation packages.
  • Communication: Schedules and coordinates regional and non-regional sales manager meetings and workshops as required.
  • Payroll and Compliance: Ensures accurate tracking and processing of payroll, as well as adherence to company policies and procedures, including ethics and compliance.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Responsible for oversight of adherence to all Bluegreen, state, and federal hiring and employment regulations for stores within assigned regions.
