Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Electrician to join our team at IES Commercial, Inc. - C&I Division. As a Service Electrician, you will be responsible for completing commercial electrical service projects on time and within budget, while ensuring customer satisfaction and adhering to local and national industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform electrical troubleshooting and diagnostics on electrical distribution systems, branch circuits, panels, lighting fixtures, control equipment, and transformers.
  • Work directly with customers and supervisors on projects within assigned service territory, maintaining positive customer relations and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Interpret construction drawings, diagrams, and schematics to complete electrical installations.
  • Utilize various tools, ladders, and lifts required for electrical installations, while maintaining safe work practices and professional appearance.
  • Operate and maintain company service vehicles, and may be required to travel.
Requirements
  • 2 to 4 years of recent commercial electrical experience.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • OSHA 10 certification or ability to obtain.
  • Pass a pre-employment background check and MVR check, if required.
