About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Behavioral Health Therapist LCSW to join our team. As a Behavioral Health Therapist LCSW, you will be responsible for providing individual and family therapy, as well as documentation within the context of the Behavioral Health and Mental Health setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual and family therapy assessments and ongoing therapy as scheduled and as needed.
  • Develop therapeutic relationships with patients in the Program while maintaining good boundaries.
  • Meet with individual patients for psychosocial assessments, groups, and continued treatment as needed.
  • Provide thorough documentation of all individual/group sessions, treatment plans, and updates meeting standards of medical necessity.
  • Attend weekly treatment planning sessions as a member of the treatment team and report on patient progress or status.
  • Assist with the completion of the Discharge Aftercare Plan and coordinate/management of patients as time allows.
  • Maintain professional growth and development through seminars, workshops, and professional affiliations to stay up-to-date on the latest trends in the field.
  • Participate in Program staff meetings and attend other meetings as assigned.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • LMFT, LCSW California Licensed per State of California requirements.
  • 2 years of experience working with psychiatric patients.
  • Masters degree required.
Work Environment

This role is primarily office-based and requires the ability to work with emotionally distressed individuals who may need crisis intervention. You will be expected to work as a team member, maintain patient confidentiality, and attend all mandatory meetings and inservices.

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary and a sign-on bonus of up to $20,000. Individual wages are determined based on qualifications and experience.
