Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care in alignment with established protocols and standards of the healthcare organization. Implement and oversee patient care plans.
- Monitor, document, and communicate patient conditions as necessary.
- Evaluate and adjust care plans to achieve desired patient outcomes.
- Act as the primary coordinator for multidisciplinary patient care.
- Administer medications and treatments according to nursing protocols.
- Follow through on physician and nursing directives.
- Assess and coordinate discharge planning needs with the healthcare team.
- Identify educational needs of patients and their families, considering cultural and individual factors.
- Provide relevant teaching and educational resources.
- Confirm and document patient and family understanding of educational materials.

Educational Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
Licensure and Certifications:
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required upon hire.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification may be required based on the clinical area.
- Additional certifications may be required based on specific patient care settings.
Work Environment:
- Requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work independently.
- Must be able to function in a high-pressure environment and respond appropriately.
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum one year of recent acute care RN experience in a hospital setting is required.

- Requires normal vision and hearing capabilities.
