Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff in the surgical department
- Develop and implement nursing care plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and services
- Monitor and evaluate patient care to ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree or enrollment in a BSN program with a commitment to complete within 5 years
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina
- At least one year of hospital nursing experience, preferably in a surgical setting
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- National certification in a relevant specialty, such as surgical nursing or critical care
