About the Role

The Senior Electrical Assembler plays a crucial role in interpreting and executing wiring schematics and blueprints to construct electrical panels and perform wiring tasks for various company machinery. This position involves assembling panels according to specifications, including the layout and physical installation of devices and wiring as outlined in the technical documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute electrical wiring for all company machinery, including heater boxes, paint kitchens, and batch burn-off ovens.
  • Work closely with the internal design team to address quality concerns and contribute to effective solutions.
  • Handle conduit installation, including cutting, threading, and pulling wire, as well as terminating connections.
  • Guide and mentor junior electrical assemblers, exemplifying GFS's core values and culture.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • An Associate's Degree in electro-mechanical or a related field is preferred.
  • Familiarity with UL and NEC Codes is essential.
  • Proven track record of process improvement initiatives.
