Responsibilities

As a Speech-Language Pathologist with Ernest Health, you will be responsible for providing and directing Speech-Language Pathologist services to patients, including:

  • Assessment
  • Treatment
  • Program planning and implementation
  • Related documentation
  • Communication

You will function under the orders of a physician and be responsible for supervising no positions.


Qualifications

To be eligible for this role, you must have:

  • A current, valid, and active license to practice as a Speech Therapist in the state of employment.
  • A Certificate of Clinical Competence in SLP or be in the process of completing a Clinical Fellowship Year.
  • Membership in the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association.
  • A current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • One (1) year of experience.
  • The ability to project a professional image.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
  • Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills.
  • The ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
  • A working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
  • Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.

Certificates, Licensures, Registrations

You must have:

  • A current, valid, and active license to practice as a Speech Therapist in the state of employment.
  • A Certificate of Clinical Competence in SLP or be in the process of completing a Clinical Fellowship Year.
  • Membership in the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association.
  • A current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor.
