YOUR CHALLENGE

As a vital member of our team, you will play a key role in delivering optimal solutions to our clients. Your duties as a Research & Development Chemist will include:

• Developing innovative formulations based on customer and market performance metrics, while also enhancing existing products to maintain competitiveness and meet regulatory standards.
• Designing and modifying formulas for projects initiated by the sales team.
• Providing technical assistance to sales personnel, Quality Control, and Production Operators.
• Collaborating within a team to tackle technical challenges and refine formulations.
• Matching colors for clients and the sales team, and creating formulas based on those matches.
• Researching and developing new products that align with market trends.
• Understanding regulatory requirements regarding VOC, HAPs, and safety to support the creation of formulation documents, Safety Data Sheets (SDS), and Technical Data Sheets (TDS).

This position will involve direct training with the R&D Manager, who brings 30 years of expertise in the paint and coatings sector.

YOUR EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

A Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline (chemistry, biology, engineering, etc.) is preferred but not mandatory.

Essential skills include:

• Strong computational and mathematical abilities, along with problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Familiarity with paints, coatings, and manufacturing processes is a plus.
• A curious mindset, eager to embrace daily challenges.
