MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a skilled Surgical First Assistant for a travel assignment in a top healthcare facility.

  • Provide direct assistance to surgeons during surgical procedures.
  • Position patients to give best exposure for surgical procedures, using stabilizing equipment when necessary.
  • Provide visualization of the operative site using appropriate methods.
  • Assist with body plane closure, application of wound dressings, and securing of drainage systems.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
  • Certification credentialed by the National Board on Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting as a surgical technologist and surgical first assistant.
  • Current BLS Certification.
