Cleveland Clinic's Euclid Hospital is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Intern to join our team. As an Inpatient Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direction of a pharmacist and receive practical training toward becoming an exceptional pharmacist.
Responsibilities:- Review and assess medication orders to identify, prevent and resolve potential and actual drug-related problems.
- Recommend formulary alternatives when appropriate.
- Compound and prepare medications for delivery to patient care areas.
- Provide drug information and education to medical staff and patients.
- Communicate with physicians and other clinicians as necessary to facilitate care.
- Currently enrolled in an accredited College of Pharmacy program.
- State Board of Pharmacy Intern License (PH/INT) prior to the start date.
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
