Job Overview
Rural Psychiatry Associates is a leading provider of mental health services in rural and remote areas. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Patient Access Coordinator to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and support.

About the Role
The Patient Access Coordinator will be responsible for a number of clerical tasks, including answering incoming phone calls, making appointment reminders, and scheduling appointments using our AdvancedMD database. You will also be responsible for greeting patients, visitors, and vendors in a friendly and professional manner, as well as distributing patient satisfaction surveys and employment applications.

Responsibilities
- Utilize a multi-phone line system to answer incoming phone calls and direct calls to appropriate staff or department;
- Make appointment reminder calls and reschedule appointments as needed;
- Utilize internal email and voicemail in order to relay messages to appropriate staff;
- Greet patients, visitors, vendors, mail carriers, delivery personnel, etc. in a prompt, friendly manner;
- Inquire about customer's needs, provide information and guidance as needed, and direct concerns appropriately;
- Distribute patient satisfaction surveys to patients;
- Distribute employment applications to prospective applicants;
- Schedule appointments for patients and vendors using AdvancedMD database;
- Print daily schedules and fee sheets;
- Create and revise print materials (policies, forms, materials, etc.) as needed;
- Compose letters and email from dictated messages as requested;
- Complete mass mailings;
- Prepare and distribute reports as requested;
- Contact various vendors/merchants as requested for business needs;
- Assist with the coordination of the clinic's provider schedule;
- All other related duties as assigned.

Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent required;
- Proficient with use of computers and various office equipment;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment;
- Strong organizational and time management skills;
- Familiarity with medical terminology preferred;
