Cybersecurity Specialist

At TechNix LLC, we are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team. This role will focus on threat detection and mitigation, ensuring the security and integrity of our systems and networks.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 per year

This is a critical position that requires a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, threat intelligence, and incident response. The successful candidate will be responsible for detecting, analyzing, and mitigating potential security threats to our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deploy, manage, and maintain enterprise cybersecurity toolsets to identify and respond to security threats.
• Develop and implement vulnerability management programs to identify and remediate security vulnerabilities in our systems and networks.
• Analyze log data to detect potential security incidents and take corrective action to mitigate risks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that security best practices are integrated into all aspects of our business.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging threats and trends in the cybersecurity landscape to ensure that our defenses remain effective.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in information security, including risk analysis, vulnerability assessment, and security testing.
• Proven track record of identifying and remediating security vulnerabilities in complex systems and networks.
• Expertise in Windows or Linux systems and their associated scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, Bash).
• Experience with AWS or Azure cloud environments and familiarity with vulnerability scanning tools (Tenable Nessus, Rapid 7 InsightVM, Qualys).
• Possession of relevant technical security certifications (GIAC, ISC2, CompTIA) a plus.
