Administrative Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at Goldman Sachs. As a key member of our operations team, you will provide administrative support to a senior group of VPs and Managing Directors, ensuring the smooth operation of our business.
Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to senior-level executives, including coordinating complex meetings and conference calls, handling high-volume phone calls, and interacting with high-level business leaders.
- Support internal and external managers or clients, including organizing and shipping literature, responding to client requests, and maintaining complex calendars.
- Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements, process expense reports, and prepare and distribute divisional correspondence.
- Maintain a high level of understanding of firm policies and handle certain issues independently.
- Manage monthly invoices and arrange for payment, onboard new hires, and process employee transfers and terminations.
- Perform general administrative duties, including copying, filing, faxing, and archiving, as well as participate in ad-hoc projects, committees, and group events.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to maintain high standards despite pressing deadlines.
- High attention to detail, with the ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently.
- Strong knowledge of general business, corporate, and government cultures, with the ability to handle highly sensitive, confidential, and non-routine information.
- Self-starter with excellent anticipation skills, problem-solving, and follow-up abilities.
- Demonstrated dependability and sense of urgency about getting results, with a high degree of integrity and confidentiality.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to work well under pressure, adapt to unexpected events, prioritize, and multi-task in a deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent judgment, independent thinking, and resourcefulness, with strong proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Team player with a positive attitude, and a high degree of integrity, professionalism, diplomacy, and discretion.
