Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Transload Operator to join our team at HC Company, Inc. as a Sand Unloading Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient unloading of sand at our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Unload sand from railcars into designated storage areas.
  • Monitor and control the flow of sand to ensure accurate and efficient unloading.
  • Direct sand to appropriate trucks or silos for storage and transportation.
  • Prepare empty railcars for transit and ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment as needed.
  • Assist with the construction and installation of new facilities and equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of daily activities and maintenance performed.
  • Collaborate with truck drivers to ensure smooth loading and unloading operations.
  • Ensure facilities are kept clean and organized, including removing spills and performing general housekeeping tasks.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 6 months to 1 year of work experience in a related field.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to sit, stand, reach, lift 50 pounds, and manipulate heavy loads or levers.
  • Ability to operate tractors and similar equipment.
