Medical Examiner for United States Veterans

We are seeking a skilled Medical Examiner to perform Disability Assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
The ideal candidate will be able to review medical records electronically through a web portal and conduct a focused, in-person physical exam on each Veteran.
They will then document the exam findings required by the VA through the web portal.
Please note that this role does not involve making disability determinations, which are made by the United States Veterans Administration.
This position is an IN-PERSON role, with the selected candidate performing Disability Assessments on 3-5 Veterans per day.
Schedule Full-time (8am-4pm)
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyzing data from medical records and exam findings to complete questionnaires and form medical opinions.
- Performing Independent Medical Assessments.
- Utilizing time management skills to stay on task and meet requirements.
- Holding a current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license.
- Proficiency in using a computer.
Requirements:
- A current, unrestricted NP or PA (NCCPA accredited) license.
- Meeting the credentialing requirements set forth by the VA.

Compensation: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
