Perioperative Registered Nurse

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Perioperative Registered Nurse to join our team at the University of New Mexico. As a key member of our nursing program, you will play a vital role in delivering safe and direct care to our patients in the operating room and post-anesthesia care unit.

Responsibilities:
Administer medication, assist with tests and procedures, and ensure patient medical records contain necessary information. Collaborate with healthcare teams to promote patient safety and provide high-quality care. Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest medical procedures and best practices.

Requirements:
Nursing program graduate, Bachelor's degree preferred. No minimum experience required, bilingual English/Spanish a plus. CPR for Healthcare/BLS, RN license in NM, nationally certified in specialty and/or PALS/TNCC/ENPC a plus. Heavy work, significant hazard requiring PPE.
