STARBASE Instructor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced STARBASE Instructor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing the STARBASE program, an after-school middle school club, and assisting in the development of the STARBASE 2.0 program.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement the STARBASE program, including curriculum development and instruction
- Assist in the development of the STARBASE 2.0 program
- Develop STARBASE curriculum and course outlines for instruction
- Formulate learning objectives, plans, designs, and program development prior to the start of participating schools
- Instruct others and evaluate the efficacy of delivery
- Ability to effectively co-teach, using multiple co-teaching methods, with all staff members
- Organize and maintain inventory of learning materials
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in a STEM or Education field
- Knowledge in math, science, aerospace, or related field
- Must be highly motivated and have the ability to work as a team member
- Considerable knowledge of instructional design
- Thorough knowledge of the techniques and methods of planning, organizing, and preparing instructional materials
- Ability to instruct others, to assess training needs; to formulate learning objectives and describe optimal means of accomplishing them; to create and evaluate training objectives, requirements, and effectiveness of delivery
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
- Experience in curriculum development required
- A valid state education certification is preferred
- Experience in elementary education is preferred
