About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Specialist to join our team at Wellpath. As a Clinical Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing direct care to our clients, conducting thorough assessments, and developing treatment plans to enhance quality of life and functional capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide daily client care, including conducting evaluations, developing treatment plans, and addressing client concerns.
  • Facilitate multidisciplinary treatment teams and work with admission and discharge staff to ensure appropriate treatment outcomes.
  • Train staff, review authorizations, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Serve as a contact point between facility departments, clients, and stakeholders to ensure effective treatment and positive experiences.
Qualifications & Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require a minimum of a M.A. or M.S. in Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or a related field. Additionally, you will need a minimum of two years' experience or training working in a mental health program serving persons with severe and persistent mental disabilities. Population experience must include those experiencing psychosis or severe mood dysregulation.

You will also need to hold CPR/BLS certification and a National Provider Number (NPI). A driver's license and registration as a Psychologist, MFT, LCSW, LPCC are preferred but not required.
